- Nebraska s DMV has varying definitions for two-wheel vehicles aside from motorcycles.
Mopeds are bicycles that use pedals for propulsion, automatic transmission and an engine that doesn t exceed 50cc s. Top speed must be no higher than 30 mph. Moped do not need to be titled or registered. However, if the pedals are removed the vehicle becomes an off-road vehicle and must be operate on private property only.

All other two-wheel vehicles in Nebraska are considered motorcycles for registration and titling purposes.
