DMV Appointments in Kentucky

How to Make an Appointment with the DMV in Kentucky

You can schedule a DMV road test appointment, once the branch office confirms that it administers skills exam. Most DDL offices are open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

If you need to schedule an appointment in Kentucky for a CDL or a motorcycle, then it is crucial that you know that the DDL does not administer the roads test. To make an appointment, you will need to contact the Kentucky State Police (KSP) Skills Department. Testing is conducted on Mondays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Once you schedule a DMV appointment and you show up to take your driving test, you must bring payment for the testing fee. If you fail to show up with an acceptable form of payment, then you will be unable to take the road skills test for your commercial drivers license.
