Only drivers who are under the age of 16 are required to enroll in drivers ed in order to obtain a learning permit in Indiana. These courses combine 30 hours of in-class instruction with six hours of training behind the wheel. The process to obtain a motorcycle driving license as a member of the military is very similar to what civilians must do.
