In Wyoming, applying for a car registration replacement will prompt the Wyoming DOT to report the loss or theft to the local sheriff s department and all other pertinent law enforcement agencies. Duplicate car registrations cannot be obtained online.

  • Temporary in-transit permit: $20 per vehicle for 48 hours

You cannot currently pay fees or register a car online in Wyoming. To do so, you must visit a local Wyoming DOT office in person.
